Morgan Jacobus is a long-time volunteer and previous Board of Director of MARTA Army. Morgan's passion for transforming Atlanta's transit experience began as an undergrad at the Georgia Institute of Technology. There, he first rode MARTA after becoming fed up of car commuting for an internship. His love of public transit, and the desire to see it serve riders better, has grown ever since. Morgan has been active within MARTA Army since 2018. From organizing book clubs to distributing meals during the pandemic, Morgan is dedicated to making a positive impact on Atlanta's transit landscape. His favorite project was leading Operation Bus Stop Census, a years long initiative to document the condition of bus stops in the MARTA service area.
Since 2019, Morgan has worked in the tolling industry as a Transportation Systems Consultant for Fagan Consulting. His experience includes overseeing the procurement, implementation, and operations of electronic toll collections systems across the country, including in Georgia with the State Road and Tollway Authority.
His interests are reading, rucking, and traveling.
